Paula Caucigh-Müller
She was born in Treleu on July 14, 1970.

At the age of 13, she began her art education in the field of painting and drawing in the studio of the famous and prestigious artist Miguel Angel Guerenya, “a great professional artistic influence" on her career.

And at the age of 17, she enrolled in the Prilidiano Pueyrredon National School of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires (now the National University of the Arts).

From a young age, at the age of 13, Paula discovered her passion for fine art. Over the years, she has worked tirelessly, devoting every day to improving her technique and exploring new forms of artistic expression.
Now she continues to show the same passion and dedication that characterized her from the very beginning.

Currently, she actively participates in the workshop of the famous artist Herman Gargano.

Paula focuses on the naked human figure, wildlife and Patagonian landscapes in her works.
The thematic connection can be traced between the works of different years and in different techniques.

Paula had many individual projects in her hometown of Trelew and its surroundings: Puerto Madryn, Cabo Raso, Rawson and others.
The largest of these was a retrospective of her works in 2019, which featured her work from 1986 to 2019.

She periodically arranges performances at various venues.
In 2023, she participated in the “ArteBA” International Art Fair in Buenos Aires, the most important in Argentina.
Argentine artist, painter, musician and athlete.

In recent years, she has presented the following art exhibitions in different parts of the province Chubut:
2018 - "Salt of the Earth" (Salt of the Earth) and " The Origin. How we continue? " (Photo collages, mixed media). The photo essay by Sebastian Salgado served as a source of inspiration and the basis for many works.

2019 - Collages about politics and religion. The series is based on real stories that happened at Cape Raso. The form chosen in this case is a collage of comics, which uses fragments of commercial publications, supplemented by the author’s drawings.

2020 - "Origin. How are we going to live?" (Origin. How do we proceed?) A series of collages, a continuation of "Salt of the Earth". This was done under the impression of the coronavirus pandemic. Both series are devoted to the problem of how people, society, continue to cope with the complexities of the modern world, which condemns them to extinction.

2022 - "Birds of the Valdez Peninsula". Many years of traveling around Patagonia and observing wildlife turned into a wonderful series about animals, which was the greatest commercial success. Several times Paula made author's repetitions of works from this series.

2023 - "Hidden in Patagonia" (Disguised in Patagonia). A series of small-format works (painting and drawing), which originates in 2023 from an exhibition at “ArteBa”, to which Paula somehow returns in her works. Now the artist has several large canvases that continue this theme. In them, Paula depicts the Patagonian landscape as the field of action of the large Cosmic Plan, where people, animals and plants merge together.

All the series have been exhibited, some more than once, in galleries and private venues in Chubut and Buenos Aires provinces.

The paintings are in private collections in Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Chile, Mexico, USA, Canada, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Morocco and Russia.
In the summer of 2024, Paula's first solo exhibition was held in Moscow, Russia, featuring paintings and graphics from the last five years of her work. This exhibition was organized as part of the implementation of the Russian-Argentine dialogue in the field of art and culture.
