The "Museum Code" helps to make cultural heritage accessible from anywhere in the world by presenting it in a virtual space

Work on the website of the project "Gallery of Academics in Mozzhinka" is coming to an end. Now the legacy of the legendary holiday village of the USSR Academy of Sciences "Mozzhinka" is available to those who wish to get acquainted with it in the virtual space.
The organizers of the project "National Academic Science in memory of the village of Mozzhinka" reported that the process of adapting the content of the exhibition, opened at the House of Scientists in Mozzhinka, for placement in virtual space, is being completed. The virtual exhibition is presented on the website Academdom.com

"Videos, audio podcasts and texts about 104 academicians who lived in the village of Mozzhinka near Zvenigorod are now available on the website. The site for the construction of the Akademikov settlement was chosen after the war by the President of the Academy of Sciences, Sergei Ivanovich Vavilov. Alexey Shchusev, the most famous architect of the 20th century, who built the Marfo-Mariinsky Monastery and Lenin's mausoleum, is the author of the general plan of the settlement. The academicians were visited not only by scientists from around the world (Nobel laureates Frederic and Irene Joliot-Curie and Gerard Hooft visited here), but also by artists, writers, composers, cosmonauts Dmitry Shostakovich, Andronik Saryan, Yuri Gagarin, Ivan Efremov and many others. The amazing stories of academics and their discoveries are not only a reason for pride, but also motivation to choose a scientific path for new generations," said Sergey Kryachkov, head of the exhibition project, representative of the Foundation for the Development of Small Historical cities in the Moscow Region.
